Who am I? A human like you, navigating the unpredictable journey of existence, determined to make the most of the time I have on this earth. I am not a medical doctor, nor do I hold any wellness certifications or possess exotic holistic knowledge. However, I have the desire to share the seeds of wellness I have planted and the soil I continue to till as I tend to my overall well-being.

In this space, I choose not to reveal my name or photo because this is not about me or a headshot someone photoshopped to make me look like I am more put together than I am. It’s about creating a place where you see yourself reflected in the content. By remaining “mostly” anonymous, I hope to emphasize that we are a reflection of each other, united in our quest for self-discovery, growth, and well-being.

With That Said

Anonymity does not discount the relevance of context. Like many others, my story has had darker chapters. These factors have impacted my self-esteem, self-worth, security, and overall satisfaction with my life.

Years ago, I began accepting that some problems were beyond my ability to repair without help. Shedding my judgments towards therapy, I sought support. This led to a transformative experience that revealed my mind’s ability to cope through professional intervention and personal investment. So began a new chapter.

A New Chapter (As Promised)

I have been in therapy for a long time and accepted it as a life-long commitment to my health. I found enjoyment in being an active participant in my well-being and took a vested interest in learning more about the ways people take care of themselves. This was a long journey of books and blogs, but it eventually led me to the dimensions of wellness.

The dimensions of wellness are a holistic framework encompassing various aspects of well-being, including physical, emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, environmental, and financial dimensions. The discovery of this framework provided me with the structure I needed to focus on specific areas of improvement rather than taking the all-or-nothing approach that many of us are familiar with.

That brings us to today. I have created this website for a few reasons: my desire to spread the feeling of contentment and growth I have discovered and to create another way I can utilize my natural inclination for research and thought experiments.
